The Chevrolet Equinox is a competitively priced mid-sized SUV that offers exceptional versatility. For 2009, the Chevrolet Equinox adds standard side-curtain airbags, and satellite radio. Also, Bluetooth phone connectivity is now available on the LT trim, standard on LTZ and Sport.
The Equinox is available in four trim levels, LS, LT, LTZ, and Sport. Equipped with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, the standard drivetrain is a 3.4-liter V6 and five-speed automatic transmission. The Sport trim features a 3.6-liter V6 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include: four-wheel-disc brakes, ABS, electronic stability system, driver and passenger front air bags, side-curtain airbags, and daytime running lights.
