Many of the local Alexandria restaurants even offer discounts and cherry blossom-themed food menu items.
Enjoy the Flowers Via a Bus Tour
If you want to avoid the crowded streets, consider viewing the cherry blossoms from a Washington D.C. bus tour. The Cherry Blossoms Galore Tour is a seasonal tour that runs from March 18-April 15, 2019, and takes you on a half-day tour to the best viewing spots in the city. The tour will also take you to D.C.’s most important attractions including the U.S. Capitol Building, the White House, and the World War II Memorial. Make sure you bring your camera because you are going to want to capture the beauty of the city as well as the historical buildings.
Rent a Bike for the Day
Covering the large city of D.C. can be tiring if you rely on walking.
