Trim Levels (Exterior)
<p>The 2019 Suburban comes in three different trim levels. The LS is the entry-level model and comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and running boards, while the LT adds a power liftgate. Opting for the Luxury Package with the LT adds a hands-free power-liftgate, power-folding side mirrors, fog lights, and an auto-dimming driver's side mirror. You can also get the Sun, Entertainment, and Destinations package which adds a sunroof. The Premier trim comes with all the equipment from the Luxury package, and it adds Magnetic Ride Control.</p>
Engine (Power)
<p>Chevy offers two different engines to choose from with the Suburban. The base powertrain is a 5.3-liter V-8 engine that delivers 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, and it comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Premier trim offers the option for a 6.2-liter V-8 that will get 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and this works with a 10-speed automatic transmission.</p>
Performance
<p>The Suburban handles well for a large vehicle, offering a smooth ride that stays in control even when heading around corners. It has a responsive steering system, and the suspension works to make it feel almost like a luxury sedan. It comes standard with rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel drive offered as an option. Families who need to tow can use the Suburban to pull up to 8,300 pounds</p>
Interior
<p>The spacious cabin seats up to nine passengers depending on the configuration. You can also choose bucket seats for both the second and third row if you only need room for seven. Cloth seats come standard with the option for leather, and you can also get heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and power folding third-row seats. In the back, behind the third row, there are over 39 cubic feet of cargo space with up to 121 cubic feet available if you fold down both back rows.</p> <p>All Suburban models come standard with an 8-inch touchscreen display, the Chevy MyLink infotainment system, five USB ports, and satellite radio. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay also come standard along with a WI-FI hot spot. Chevy offers the option to add a rear seat entertainment system, and you can also add navigation and an upgraded stereo.</p>
Safety Features
<p>Rear parking sensors and a rearview camera are both standard safety features in the Suburban, and the Teen Driver system also comes standard. Some of the optional safety equipment includes GM's safety alert seat, adaptive headlights, automatic emergency braking, front parking sensors, lane departure warning, and a forward collision warning system. You can also get a head-up display, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and lane keep assist.</p>
