Trim Levels (Exterior)
Just two trim options are available for the 2022 Chevrolet Trax: LS and LT. Standard features include power outside mirrors, body-colored beltline moldings, a liftgate applique, daytime running lights, and an acoustic laminated windshield. Upgrading to the LT adds LED tail lamps and daytime running lights, heated power outside mirrors, options like a black surround and grille, and 18-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels.
Engine (Power)
One engine is available for the 2022 Trax, and it's improved since the last model year. You get a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. This configuration will garner up to 155 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. With an EPA-estimated 24 mpg in the city and 32 on the highway, you can enjoy more time on the road as well as less time and money at the pump.
Performance
The standard powertrain is a front-wheel-drive system, but an all-wheel-drive upgrade is optional to provide better performance in various weather and road conditions.
