2023 Chevrolet Tahoe
Sometimes, the only vehicle that can get the job done is a full-size SUV. Whether you have a big family, need a lot of interior space for cargo, or just like the style, a full-size SUV can be a blast to drive. The new 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe is one of the best examples of what a modern SUV can offer, with three rows of seats and plenty of features for you and your passengers alike to enjoy. Learn all about the new 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
There are six different trim levels for the Tahoe, so it should be easy to find one with the exterior features you like. The base level is known as the LS, and it already features options for a roof rack with cross rails and 18-inch wheels. Upgrade to the LT, and you'll get a power-operated rear liftgate, while the RST is a sportier option with 22-inch alloy wheels.?
The Z71 trim is primarily designed for off-roading, boasting underbody skid plates, a beefier suspension, and red tow hooks. The wheels are 20 inches in size and wrapped with all-terrain tires. This trim additionally features black-painted tubular side steps. At the Premier trim, you get all-season tires and 20-inch alloy wheels, while the High Country boasts a panoramic sunroof and power-retractable side steps.
Engine (Power)
Three engine possibilities await you with the new Tahoe, and they all offer considerable power. The standard 5.3-liter V-8 engine offers an incredible 355 horsepower with 383 pound-feet of torque. If that's not enough, you can upgrade to the 6.2-liter V-8 engine, which produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. There's also a diesel version if you're looking for even more power: a 3-liter turbocharged inline-six. This engine boasts 277 horsepower with 460 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Despite being a relatively large SUV, the Tahoe handles incredibly well, as it manages to avoid much of the body roll around turns that vehicles this size normally have to deal with. Navigating tight spaces is quite simple, too, given the Tahoe's tight cornering, so this SUV is a strong contender if you regularly drive in the city. The magnetic ride control suspension or available air suspension, depending on which you opt for, both offer a relaxing and smooth ride throughout.
Interior
Plenty of interior space awaits you within the new Tahoe, with room enough for eight people in total, while upgrading the second row to captain's chairs will reduce that number to seven. If you want even more room for passengers, all three rows including the front can be bench seats, which brings the total capacity to nine people. In terms of cargo space, there's 122.9 cubic feet in total, with 72.6 cubic feet available if the second row is up.
Safety Features
Plenty of safety features are available with the Tahoe, such as standard forward collision warning and automated emergency braking along with lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist. You can also upgrade your Tahoe to include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
