2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer

The 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer comes in four trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, and RS. Starting equipment on the LS includes 17-inch painted aluminum wheels and automatic on-off headlights. The LT model can be configured for all-wheel drive if you upgrade to the stronger engine. This trim level also adds several convenience and comfort features, as well as LED fog lights, heated side mirrors, and black 17-inch wheels. It also offers a package that adds a hands-free liftgate and panoramic sunroof.

The Activ model comes with a 1.3-liter engine and off-road suspension. It also adds LED tail lights and a dual exhaust. Finally, the RS trim level rides on 18-inch wheels and carries sporty body design elements. It also comes with the Sun and Liftgate packages, which are available as add-ons for the LT model.

With the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer, you have a choice between two 3-cylinder engines: a 1.2-liter with 137 horsepower and a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine with 155 horsepower. If you want all-wheel drive, you'll have to upgrade to the nine-speed automatic transmission and turbo engine. Otherwise, the standard powertrain comes with a continuously variable automatic transmission configured for front-wheel drive.

In front-wheel drive, Trailblazers with the standard engine get up to 33 highway mpg, solid numbers in the subcompact SUV class. The LT offers an Adaptive Cruise Control package, and the Activ customizes the subcompact SUV for off-roading. Whatever style of performance you care about most, from efficient highway commutes to roaming off the pavement, you'll find a fitting version of the Trailblazer.

The Trailblazer's front and back rows are equally comfortable and accessible. You can fold the rear and front passenger seats completely flat, expanding the 25.3-cubic-foot cargo area to a total 54.5 cubic feet of interior volume. Standard interior features on the LT include air conditioning, a 7-inch touch screen, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, satellite radio, wireless Android Auto, and wireless Apple CarPlay.

The LT model also adds cruise control, keyless entry and push-button start, heated front seats, and an 8-way power driver's seat. The LT Convenience Package adds a few more features, like an 8-inch touch screen and automatic climate control. The Activ model comes with a leather-wrapped, heated steering wheel, rear center armrest, and leather-wrapped shifting knob. More upgrades, like wireless phone charging and an HD rearview camera, are available through the Trailblazer Activ packages.

All versions of the 2023 Trailblazer come with a Teen Driver mode, which sets certain limits on the radio volume and vehicle speed. High-beam assist, lane-keeping features, and forward-collision warning with automatic braking are all standard, and the available Driver Confidence & Cruise safety equipment package adds cruise control, lane-change alert, rear parking assist, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
