2019 Chevrolet TraverseChoosing a new vehicle is hard enough without having five different trim levels of one model to choose between. Fortunately, a variety of trim levels allows you to find the vehicle that best fits you. You’re bound to find the SUV calling your name among the diverse trim levels of the 2019 Chevy Traverse. Here’s what makes each trim level unique.

Traverse L

For a standard trim level, the 2019 Traverse L comes with far more than the basic trim levels of other vehicles. Standard in the L, as well as in almost every Traverse trim, is the 3.6-liter V-6 engine that generates 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. You and your passengers will be able to enjoy that power in comfort with the standard tri-zone automatic climate control, which allows you, your front passenger, and the guests in your rear seat to customize their comfort.

Also standard on the L trim is eight-passenger seating, the Chevrolet Infotainment System and its 7-inch color touch screen, a Teen Driver monitoring system, and 98.20 cubic feet of cargo space with the second and third rows folded down.

One step above the Traverse L, the LS model adds deep-tinted glass and a few more optional features such as 20-inch all-season blackwall tires, splash guards, and upgraded floor mats.

Traverse LT

The LT model takes the L’s many standard features and kicks things up a notch. With a chrome-accented grille, available 20-inch aluminum wheels, and a choice between a cloth or leather interior, the LT trim will certainly give your Traverse a flashier appearance and more luxurious interior. The Traverse also drops the standard seating down to seven passengers, with an available bench seat option for a third row. The LT also adds halogen fog lamps, deep-tinted windows, and heated power outside mirrors.

Traverse RS

If the standard features just won’t be enough for you, then you need the Traverse RS. This trim level trades in the 3.6-liter V-6 for a 2-liter Turbo 4-cylinder engine that generates 255 horsepower and 295 pounds-per-foot of torque. The RS takes a darker appearance with a Black Ice Grille, 20-inch Dark Android aluminum wheels, and black roof rails.

In addition to changes in appearance, the RS adds plenty of features that will make your drive more entertaining and convenient. Standard on the RS is the Chevy Infotainment System with a larger 8-inch touch screen, heated front seats, remote start, a Bose premium audio system, and a Surround Vision camera that gives you a bird’s-eye view of the area around your vehicle.

Traverse Premier

The Traverse Premier is the pinnacle of the 2019 Chevy Traverse experience. While the Premier comes with the Surround Vision camera, the tinted windows, the ten-speaker Bose sound system, and the 8-inch touch screen of the RS, this trim level has plenty of unique features to offer. Standard on only the Premier trim are a wireless charging system, heated and ventilated driver and front passenger seats, heated rear seats, and LED D-Optic headlamps.
