2024 Chevrolet Tahoe Performance

Chevy offers three powertrain options for its new Tahoe. Most trim levels come standard with a 5.3-liter V8 gas engine that produces 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. This engine pairs with either a rear-wheel or all-wheel drivetrain and provides excellent power for running errands around town and casual off-roading.

The range-topper High Country comes standard with a bigger 6.2-liter V8 engine, which is also available on the RST, Z71, and Premier models. Its 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque deliver heavy-duty trailering capabilities. A third turbo diesel powertrain is available on all trim levels except the Z71 and is the perfect choice for those who need outstanding torque and fuel economy.

A Luxurious Interior

The 2024 Tahoe boasts a stylish interior with an ample third row that provides roomy accommodation for adult passengers. Chevrolet equips the LS, LT, RST, and Z71 trims with second and third-row 60/40 split-fold benches for a capacity of eight passengers. Power-release second-row bucket seats come standard on the Premier and High Country trims and enhance room and comfort for the second-row passengers.

Chevy’s Infotainment 3 System equips all trim levels and can be controlled from an 8-inch touchscreen display on the base model and a 10.2-inch full-color touchscreen on the higher trims. The system boasts complimentary SiriusXM with a 360L 3-month trial subscription as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

Other highlights on all trim levels include Wi-Fi hotspot capability, cruise control, and a rear-view camera. Standard safety and driver assistance features include automatic emergency braking, lane keeping and departure assistance, forward collision alerts, and a following distance indicator.
