Trim Levels of the 2025 Chevrolet Suburban

Designed with big families in mind, the 2025 Chevrolet Suburban is one of the best full-size SUVs for work and play. It is available in six trim levels, each bringing its own personality and set of features to the table.

LS

With a comfortable interior packed with upscale features, the Suburban’s base trim level is anything but basic. The standard eight-seat layout with power-adjustable front seats and comfortable split-fold rear benches provides flexible space for people and cargo, while a three-rider front bench is available if you need room for up to nine riders. Cloth seating surfaces keep the cabin easy to clean and provide a soft, pleasant feel.

Power comes from a 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine that makes 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission that includes a traction selection system and a tow/haul mode, making it easy to take big toys along for the journey.

LT

Stepping up in comfort and convenience, the LT model comes with the same base powertrain but can be had with a 3.0L turbo-diesel engine that generates 495 pound-feet of torque for added off-roading confidence.

The interior boasts more position adjustments for the front passenger seat, as well as heated front seats and driver’s side memory. Leather-appointed seating surfaces give the cabin a luxe feel, while a power programmable liftgate is standard for added convenience.

Z71

Optimized for off-roading, the Z71 is the only Suburban trim level offered in standard four-wheel drive. It also boasts a range of performance upgrades, including front and rear skid plates and unique Technical Gray 20-inch aluminum wheels that improve traction on loose terrains.

An Autotrac 2-speed transfer case is also standard, allowing you to switch from two-wheel to four-wheel drive on demand or automatically, based on changing road conditions. Recovery hooks are also standard, optimizing this trim for extreme adventures.

RST

The Suburban’s sportiest grade, the RST, comes with stylish 22-inch wheels, upgradeable to 24-inch for added traction and unique visual appeal. Exclusive badging also enhances this model’s appearance, while unique seat stitching adds a subtle but sophisticated interior detail.

Premier

With more premium features than the lower trims, the Premier is a great choice for families seeking exclusive comfort. The comfortable front seats are heated and ventilated, while heated bucket seats with a power release are standard in the second row. A Power Sliding center console adds more convenience, and you can enhance the model with the available AutoSense power liftgate.

High Country

The range-topper high country elevates both style and performance. It comes with a 420-hp V8 gas engine, but it can be had with the turbo-diesel powertrain. Magnetic ride control delivers smooth rides on all terrains, and a four-corner adaptive air ride suspension is available. This model also boasts signature styling elements and comes with a 15-inch heads-up display for enhanced safety.
