La Campesina Restaurant

Serving traditional Mexican and Salvadorean dishes, La Campesina Restaurant is another popular spot for lunch and dinner among Fairfax locals. Located at 8442 Lee Highway, this place can be reached in about 10 minutes by car from the city center via Old Lee Highway and route US-29. Opening hours are Monday through Saturday between 11:00 am and 10:00 pm, and on Sundays between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm. Offering dine-in, curbside pickup, and home delivery, La Campesina Restaurant is known for its delicious “Taquitos Tijuana Chicken” served with guacamole and sour cream, as well as for the homemade seafood soup with shrimp, salmon, scallops, clams, calamari, and mussels. This place also serves quesadillas, burritos, burrito bowls, Mexican tamales, and Salvadorean pupusas.

Rango’s Tex-Mex & Grill

Located at 1934 Old Gallows Road in the nearby town of Vienna, Rango’s Tex-Mex & Grill is known for its weekend brunch specials. Open Sunday through Thursday between 11:00 am and 10:00 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays between 11:00 am and 11:00 pm, this family-owned restaurant serves guacamole platters, chili con carne, tacos, fresh ceviche, sautéed shrimps, quesadillas, nachos, and tortilla soup.
